A Duet
This painting is done by two different women, one does the person (as shown on the left) and the other does the landscape paintings (right). Together they tell a story through these combined pictures, I learned this when I actually got to meet the artists, Betty Haight and Stephanie Cunningham, who were both very charming women. They explained that they would paint invidual paintings them put them together with random wood pieces, or other tachable things like paper. You cannot see it in the picture above, but their paintings would be bordered by the different slices of wood and paper among other things. I thought it was creative and interesting that they would think to combine they're own individual paintings to creat something beautiful and with a story. Not to mention the artists were such lovely gals!
