I chose this piece sketched by Jim Meskimen, for a few reasons. First of all, after the first class of gesture drawing, I completely fell in love with charcoal. So I looked up some charcoal artist and found this guy. This piece is titled 'cell phones' its a drawing of 3 guys on 1 chair all using their cell phones. I just think this piece is perfect because it captures, what seems to be almost all of the teenagers these days....
